Location: North Tyneside (base), North Northumberland, Sunderland & North Durham 

Role Type: Full-Time | Flexible Shifts

Bluebird Care is looking to significantly grow its supervisory team and appoint a number of dedicated and compassionate Field Care Supervisors to support our growing teams across North Tyneside, North Northumberland, Sunderland, and North Durham.


 About the Role

This is a care-led leadership position where your empathy, professionalism, and commitment to quality will shine. You’ll play a vital role in supporting our care assistants, ensuring high standards of service, and helping our customers live safely and independently in their own homes.


  What You’ll Do

  • Provide care cover for sickness/ annual leave, be the start up team for new customers
  • Set the highest standards of care delivery and represent the company with your professionalism
  • Conduct care competencies and spot checks
  • Mentor and support care staff in the field
  • Liaise with customers and families to ensure satisfaction
  • Travel between our 4 service areas, supporting the wider care team (North Tyneside, Northumberland, Sunderland & North Durham)
  • Uphold compliance and quality standards
  • Contribute to rota planning and shift coordination
  • Participate in on-call support duties as part of a rotating schedule (with a daily bonus payment in addition to base salary).

  What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in care is essential (supervisory experience a plus)
  • Evidence of care related qualifications
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle (must be comfortable with driving distances between our 4 branches)
  • A genuine passion for helping others
