Responsibilities

Waking Nights Care Assistant's to support customers with care and support needs in their own homes.

You will remain awake and attentive throughout the night, providing:

  • Personal care and mobility assistance (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming)
  • Medication support and monitoring
  • Repositioning and pressure area care
  • Carrying out light domestic duties such as general cleaning and laundry
  • Support with meal preparation, fluids and nutrition
  • Be a dependable, friendly, familiar face for all of the customers you care for
  • Reassurance and companionship

Requirements

Desirable:

  • *A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle*

Essential:

  • A kind, compassionate attitude and a calm approach to care
  • Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
  • Ability to follow care plans 
  • Previous care experience is beneficial but not a necessity as full training will be provided
