Roles that are available for your career development -
Care Champion - Being a care champion goes alongside your role as Care Assistant, and you will "Champion" specific areas of your role, such as Dementia, Brain Injury, Hydration, Mental Health etc. As a Care Champion you will also mentor and coach new members of the team, and have have the knowledge to sign post customers and families to much needed resources.
Care Mentor- As a Care Mentor you will support the supervisory team in completing supervisions and competencies in the field, supporting Quality assurance and ensuring Care Assistants are providing care to a high standard, which is both safe and effective and inline with the Customer's care plan. You will provide support and guidance to carers and help mentor probationary Care Assistants.
Care Supervisor - Care supervisors complete care assessments and create create individually tailored care plans for new customers. You will complete supervisions and competencies on Care Assistants, ensuring Care Assistants are providing care to a high standard, which is both safe and effective and inline with the Customer's care plan. As part of the Care Supervisor role you will complete customer reviews and update care plans, you will need to work with other Healthcare professionals to ensure customer's receive the level of care and support they need. You will also take part in the out-of-hours emergency on-call rota, and be prepared to go out into the field to cover care calls in times of need.
Care Coordinator - Care Coordinators need to be organised, have a good telephone manner and have excellent computer skills. You will be required to answer incoming calls and deal with customer and care assistant queries, you will be the first port of call for customer enquiries and will need to be knowledgeable about our services and the levels of support we provide. You will manage the rosters allocating bookings to care assistants and covering sickness, ensuring continuity of care. You need to have a good attention to detail and have accurate record keeping. You will also take part in the out-of-hours emergency on-call rota, and be prepared to go out into the field to cover care calls in times of need.
Registered Care Manager - You will efficiently manage the day-to-day running of the business, by providing strong leadership so that staff are clear about their respective duties and have the support to carry out their roles safely. You will need to understand and manage HR processes and be instrumental in Quality Assurance. You will overview our care planning and rostering systems to ensure a compliant business and focus on driving both domiciliary care and live-in care business. You will be participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota.
