Julie McLellan, Director
Julie, co-director of Bluebird Care, started delivering homecare in Sunderland & Durham to provide support to customers in their own homes. Her commitment to delivering high-quality care has led to the growth of Bluebird Care, which now offers a variety of services to individuals and families.

Angus McLellan, Director
Angus, with his extensive experience in the NHS and private practice, brings his clinical expertise to the team. His background in care services for older people helps Bluebird Care navigate the complexities of the healthcare system and ensure that customers receive the best possible care.

Michelle, Operations Director
Michelle has over 20 years of experience in social care, specialising in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and autism. She has held senior management roles across multiple organizations across the years she has worked in care.

Brian, Registered Manager
Brian has a diverse career background, including roles in the British Army and healthcare management. He has experience in providing support to brain injury survivors and has held leadership positions in various healthcare organisations.

Kelly, Deputy Manager
Kelly has over 20 years of care experience, predominantly in older person's care, which has included various positions from laundry assistant, registered nurse, registered manager and regional management. Throughout her career, her focus has always been on enabling staff and services to deliver high quality person-centered care, enabling people accessing the services to live their lives the way they want.

Sharon, Care Supervisor
Sharon joined Bluebird Care in January 2022 and has quickly progressed through the ranks. Her role involves supporting staff to deliver the best possible care, conducting spot checks and medication observations, and developing training programs.

Amie, Care Supervisor
Amie joined Bluebird Care in 2023 as a Care Expert and has since been promoted to Team Leader, Support Supervisor, and now is part of our core Care Supervisor Team. Amie trains and supervises staff in the field, and ensures that Bluebird Care standards are always met.

Rachael, Care Coordinator
Rachael joined Bluebird Care as a Support Supervisor and has since progressed to Coordinator, bringing over 15 years of experience in the care sector. She plays a key role in ensuring services are delivered with professionalism and compassion.

Julie has been with Bluebird Care for 13 years and has a long-standing passion for caring. She enjoys meeting people, hearing their stories, and the variety that her job brings.

Amy, Team Leader
Amy joined Bluebird Care in October 2023, drawn back to health and social care by the opportunity to make a real difference. As a Team Leader, she supports and mentors new care assistants, ensuring they have a positive start through regular contact, guidance, and encouragement. For Amy, the most rewarding part of her role is the impact she has on customers' lives—whether assisting with daily tasks, providing companionship, or simply listening. Being part of their lives and making a difference in their day brings her immense satisfaction.

Kate, Marketing & Recruitment Manager
Kate joined Bluebird Care in 2024 With a background in strategic marketing, social media, and public relations, Kate is dedicated to driving business growth and expanding Bluebird Care's reach within the community. She also supports with the recruitment of our wonderful Bluebirds, ensuring that we get the best care for our customers.

Diane, Accounts Manager
Diane has been working as the Accounts Administrator at Bluebird Care since July 2018, while also pursuing her Association of Accounting Technicians qualification. Prior to joining Bluebird Care, Diane worked in customer service, which has helped her provide excellent service to the company's clients.

Sue, Senior Administrator
Sue has a diverse background that includes business studies, secretarial work, and fitness instruction. Sue has held management positions in the care sector, and has since transitioned into her role as Senior Administrator after a stint at the 111 service.
