Female Care Assistant
£13.35 - £13.35 per annum
Join our growing team in North Tyneside We are seeking kind and caring individuals who share our passion for helping others. No experience necessary as full training is given. Earn £13ph + PAID travel time (paid at £12.50ph) + 35p per mile + Holiday pay. We do require all applicants to have a Full Driving Licence and a reliable vehicle in order to be considered for this role. We have full-time and part-time hours available. We ask for all of our Care Assistants to be able to commit to working alternate weekends. We offer our Care Assistants: £13 per hour £12.50 per hour for travel time Paid Fuel - 35p per mile Enhanced Bank Holiday rate at £19.50 per hour Flexible hours Paid annual leave Workplace pension scheme £400 referral scheme for introducing new carers (T&C’s apply) Fully paid induction in line with the Care Certificate Uniform provided Access to Health & Social Care qualifications Career progression Supportive and friendly working environment Shadowing programme with experienced Healthcare Assistants to ensure you are comfortable with your role and responsibilities We care for the elderly and vulnerable in the comfort of their own homes as an alternative to a residential care home. Bluebird Care is looking to significantly grow its supervisory team and appoint a number of dedicated and compassionate Field Care Supervisors to support our growing teams across North Tyneside, North Northumberland, Sunderland, and North Durham. About the Role This is a care-led leadership position where your empathy, professionalism, and commitment to quality will shine. You’ll play a vital role in supporting our care assistants, ensuring high standards of service, and helping our customers live safely and independently in their own homes. What You’ll Do Provide care cover for sickness/ annual leave, be the start up team for new customers Set the highest standards of care delivery and represent the company with your professionalism Conduct care competencies and spot checks Mentor and support care staff in the field Liaise with customers and families to ensure satisfaction Travel between our 4 service areas, supporting the wider care team (North Tyneside, Northumberland, Sunderland & North Durham) Uphold compliance and quality standards Contribute to rota planning and shift coordination Participate in on-call support duties as part of a rotating schedule (with a daily bonus payment in addition to base salary).
