Benefits of a Career with Bluebird Care

We are proud to have local social workers and district nurses who began their careers as entry-level Care Assistants at Bluebird Care Wandsworth Clapham & Streatham. In the same way, ninety five percent of our management team started as carers themselves, most of them from within our local team.

Being a part of our dedicated team is immensely rewarding, but also demands commitment and professionalism. Working with some of the most vulnerable members of society can give you enormous satisfaction and offers you an opportunity to make a real difference to someone’s life. Working for Bluebird Care Wandsworth can be a vocation, not just a job. We believe that our staff are as important as our customers and we support and encourage them to be the best they can be.

We offer a varied and comprehensive training program giving our team the opportunity to upskill and learn new things, even specialise in a particular area of care.  Many of our team have been inspired to become – or are working towards becoming - true leaders in their field.  We are recognised as an organisation where outstanding people can  build a full and rewarding career and feel proud to be a Bluebird Carer.   In this way, we can ensure we meet, and where possible exceed, the wishes and needs of our customers.  We are proud to be great employers and because we are, our team feel proud to go that extra mile.  Take a look at our jobs for carers current vacancies

Valuing Our Staff

At Bluebird Care Wandsworth we believe that our team members are the heart of our business. We believe in rewarding and recognising the hard work that our staff members carry out on a daily basis, because without them we wouldn't be able to deliver all of the high quality services we currently offer. What-our-carers-say

As well as holding monthly internal staff recognition awards, we like to go the extra mile to show our staff that they are appreciated. A prime example of this is Sophie's story. We were delighted to sponsor our Care Assistant Sophie Gavin, when she chose to take a 3 month sabbatical to volunteer in India. Sophie resumed her role with us as soon as she returned from India, read her story here.

We are looking for people who are passionate about great care to join us. If you share our commitment to providing the best possible home care services, and you would like to work for an organisation who value and support their staff, we would love to hear from you.

We have home care jobs and live in jobs available now.  Take a look at our jobs for carers and part time jobs in Wandsworth.
