Meet the team

Sharon is an experienced Manager with over 22 years experience working in the Health Care Sector. 

Jackie is an experienced Manager joining us after 12 years with the NHS.  She is responsible for the legal and ethical running of the business ensuring that both our staff and customers alike are happy and having their needs met.

Debbie has been working with Bluebird Care since April 2016, after working within the healthcare sector for over 9 years.  As Training Manager, Debbie works together with all three Care Hubs in Exeter, Exmouth & East Devon to raise the training at Bluebird Care to the next level.

William is a former NHS and Social Care Manager. He has extensive experience of managing and delivering high quality health services to the public. Locally he was responsible for the joint delivery of Health and Social Care services for Adults in Exeter, Sidmouth, Seaton and Axminster. William has achieved a Masters Degree in Health Care Management (University of Birmingham) gained whilst on the highly competitive NHS Graduate Management Training Scheme.

William is driven by a desire to provide responsive high quality care services, he is particularly keen to provide individualised services that enrich the lives of those receiving them. When not working William can be found surfing his "Mini Mal" at Polzeath and Bantham, or walking the Moors with his wife Sara and their dog, 'Poppy'.

Sara is a Business graduate (Loughborough).  Her working career started in Business Management for British Airways (she was fortunate enough to fly Concorde to New York!!). Locally Sara has worked for NHS Devon and the local Stroke Network, based at the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust. She also managed the South West NHS Neonatal Networks which covered the Neonatal units from Gloucester to Lands End. Sara has always had a passion for the standards of care delivered to older people. For a number of her adult years Sara was a care worker supporting older people and so has "hands on" experience of care. Given her experience as a care worker she has uncompromising standards in the area of customer care. Sara is an avid reader and loves walking, particularly on the "High Moors" with William and their dogs 'Poppy' and 'Ruby'.

Ray is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. During his career he has held a number of senior accounting appointments within Industry and the Ministry of Defence.

Ray joined Bluebird care in 2018 as Head of Finance. He is trustee for the Spirit of Normandy Trust a charity looking after the Welfare of Normandy veterans all of whom are now well into their nineties.

Boudicca joined Bluebird Care in February 2022 after working freelance for them for a number of months. She looks after the digital elements of marketing for our four hubs, Exeter, Exmouth, East and West Devon.  

Kirsty has come from a management background after working for TUI for the past 8 years. She loves engaging with people and has a passion for people development, which is why she has joined as our Recruitment Assistant.

Imogen joined Bluebird Care as a Care Assistant; she loved this role as well as working on 'double handed', and really enjoyed helping and supporting new team members. Imogen is now working as a Care Facilitator with all of our Devon Hubs. She loves the fact that she can make a positive difference to the lives of both staff and customers.

Billy has been a member of the team for several years now, he loves to go out and about when the weather is nice as he doesnt like getting his feathers wet.

He also pops up round the office occasionally. Normally though we catch him down by the beach during the summer.
