Rick Parekh
Director
Bluebird Care Stafford is led by Rick Parekh. Rick joined the Bluebird Care team in January 2016 with a view to offer outstanding quality care to their customers.
Rick’s fundamental role is to ensure the continued development and growth of Bluebird Care Stafford whilst ensuring great customer satisfaction. His previous experiences include working at board level within in the food manufacturing industry where attention to detail is paramount. He hopes the acquired skills and resources will lead to the goal of becoming the leading provider of domiciliary care in the Staffordshire area.
The care that we provide is not just our day job, but it is our passion! We are extremely proud of the outstanding standard of care we provide and our aim is to ensure that our customers always receive the quality service we would expect for our own family member. Myself and my team would be delighted to hear from anyone who is seeking homecare for themselves, for a loved one, or would simply like to talk to someone about the services we provide.
Emily Jones
Registered Care Manager
Emily joined us as a carer in 2010. Within a short space of time, she was promoted to Care Supervisor and then in 2012 took the role of Care Coordinator. In 2016 Emily accepted her current position as Care Manager and since then has made huge impact to the services we provide and is an asset to Bluebird Care Stafford.
Emily has proven to be extremely proactive in engaging with both customers and staff and demonstrates exceptional skills in managing expectations.
I am keen to progress Bluebird Care Stafford as the leading domiciliary care agency within Staffordshire and I feel very passionate about the service we provide to our customers.
Jessica Heffernan
Business Development & Recruitment Manager
Jess joined the Bluebird Care team in September 2019 as a Business Development and Recruitment Coordinator and in May 2022, was promoted to Business Development and Recruitment Manager. Her role involves recruiting new staff to join our team, advertising and promoting the business as well as event management for customers, staff and also charities.
Jess previously worked in a customer services environment prior to joining the care industry 8 years ago. She has spent these years working in domiciliary care, a nursing home and a residential home. During this time she has completed a Level 2 diploma in Health and Social Care and hopes to progress on to Level 3.
I joined Bluebird Care as I am very passionate about care and wanted to stay within the industry whilst I also progressed. I felt Bluebird Care was the best company to do that with. I thoroughly enjoy my role, especially when organising and holding in house events for our customers to attend. Bluebird Care is a fantastic team and I am very proud to be a part of it
Kelly Muncaster
Care Coordinator
Kelly joined us in March 2017 and has over ten years experience within the care sector.
As well as delivering care and support to the elderly in the community, she has also worked in other areas, including mental health, learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities and children. Within this time Kelly has obtained her Level 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care.
Kelly is very excited to have joined our team and looks forward to learning new skills, meeting new challenges and making an overwhelming difference with us.
I am extremely passionate about people and care and believe in a professional, punctual service, delivered with a smile.
William McGettigan
Lead Care Supervisor
Will Joined Bluebird Care in 2017 as a care assistant and progressed through the company to the role of Field Care Supervisor in 2019. In May 2022 Will accepted and took on his current role as Lead Care Supervisor. He has many years’ experience in domiciliary care and believes in providing the best possible care for those living with dementia. He is the office’s dementia friends champion and regularly runs information sessions for staff on the subject.
I am proud to be part of a team that offers great quality care in our community. We understand the need to support our customers, their families, and work hard to maintain our excellent standards.
Sally Kidd
Field Care Supervisor
Sally joined us in 2013 as a carer and has since attained her Level 2 & 3 in Health & Social Care as well as a BTEC Level 2 in Learning Disabilities and Mental Health. Sally is also our Mental Health First Aid Champion and regularly runs information sessions for staff to help them better understand Mental Health.
She has had over 25 years of experience in the care setting, previously working in residential, respite and day care for elderly, learning and physical disabilities. She is friendly and professional and a great part of the Bluebird Care team.
Having a close family member with a learning disability, I understand the need for a level of excellence provided in their individual care and strive to provide the same for all.
Laura Daniels
Live-In Care Co-ordinator
Laura became part of our Bluebird Care Team in August 2022 and has over 15 years of experience working in health care.
Laura is a very positive, happy, smiley person, striving to make a difference and enjoys problem solving. She has built a career within the care sector having previously worked as a Care Assistant, Senior Care Assistant, Care Coordinator, and Deputy Care Manager, and has now taken on the role of Live-in Care Coordinator with us. Laura has also completed her Level 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care and would now like to attain a Level 5 in order to further her knowledge and skills.
Caring for the elderly is my passion. Having cared for so many wonderful people over the years has been a privilege, and I am so very proud to be a carer at heart. I’m extremely grateful to be a part of the Bluebird Care family and for the opportunities, they have given me. I’m excited about the future, to build our Live-in Care services and to work closely with our customers and our care team. Being able to make a difference in our customers’ lives, working together to achieve positive outcomes, and turning their dreams of staying at home into a reality is more than just a job for me!
Aggie Serwadczak
Field Care Supervisor
Aggie became a part of our team in September 2018, starting as a care assistant. With a remarkable 17 years of experience in the care sector, Aggie has advanced within the company, serving as a carer mentor, Senior Care Assistant, and, as of January 2024, she was promoted to the position of Field Care Supervisor. Currently pursuing her NVQ level 3 in health and social care, Aggie has also achieved accreditation as a train-the-trainer in Medication and Moving and Handling.
I am dedicated to providing care at the highest standards, firmly believing that effective communication is key.
