If you want to make a difference to someone’s life and give back to the community, a career in care may be for you. Bluebird Care specialises in providing care in customer’s own homes. We are proud to be rated ‘Overall Good’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). We provide a personalised service of care visits at home from 30 minutes onwards, up to full 24-hour live-in care support. Whatever the necessity, we will be there for as long as they need us. 

We want our Health Care professionals to provide the highest care standards in the community. To achieve that, we provide all the training you need to be the best carer, so there is no need to have any previous experience. Our caregivers come from different walks of life. So do not worry whether you have never done care before. Often if you have looked after children, done volunteering, or looked after horses or animals, you would have that caring characteristic already. We will teach you the basics and train you further to take you on your new career path. We will also support you to ensure you are comfortable in your role.

Suppose you are just out of Sixth form College and you need to get health care experience to go to Uni to study Medicine, Psychology, Nursing, Neurology, or even Social Health care. In that case, you can improve your chances of getting into the right university. Join us to gain that invaluable experience for a minimum of 6 months.

If you are retired but rather forlorn, as working gives you that reason to get out of bed, consider going down this pathway. Working gives you a structure and somehow friendships with your new colleagues. There is no need to be out of the work process. Our eldest care assistant is in her seventies. Join our teams if you feel you can contribute and support someone’s daily life.
