Why Are We Different?

Set in the heart of London, Bluebird Care Highgate & Haringey is a leading homecare and live in care agency. What makes our homecare services different is that we put you first. We aim to provide you with the same standard of care that we would expect for our own families. This means valuing each person’s unique qualities and seeing them as an individual, and not as a list of care needs. We work alongside families and individuals to tailor our wide range of services to help our customers stay in control of their own care for as long as they are able to.

We have an exceptional team of English-speaking carers who can provide 24 hours of support, our visits are flexible and can range from as little as 30 minutes a day to a full live-in service. We provide social outings and our carers will often go that extra mile for you.  With a ‘Good’ CQC rating, no upfront fees, no hidden extras and a trial period, you can be assured that you are receiving the very best there is.

Our commitment to deliver the high-quality services you want, how you want them and in the comfort of your own home is stronger now than ever.

The Bluebird Care Highgate & Haringey office is owned and operated by husband and wife Michael & Tania Hackett and George Morris.

Michael, Tania and George all met at University in Manchester in 2000 and have been close friends ever since. With complimentary skills and qualifications, all have extensive care management experience owning and running other successful Bluebird Care offices in London. They have personally seen first-hand the importance of quality driven, person-centred care due to family situations. which they are in turn passionate about delivering to their customers.

Before working in the care industry Michael spent the majority of his professional life working for the global recruitment business Michael Page where he specialised in placing people into a range of positions in the Health and Social Care sector. Tania’s background in legal and compliance has made it possible for Bluebird Care to create a stable operating platform from which the team’s care specialists can provide high-quality care services to a range of customers across the borough of Haringey.

George has over 12 years management experience. Prior to care George worked for two global recruitment search companies working across different time zones and with many different nationalities. Michael, Tania and George are open, honest and friendly, so please feel free to contact them directly with any thoughts or questions about Bluebird Care Highgate & Haringey, and how we might be able to support you and your family.

Terina Jones
Registered Care Manager

Terina started working in the care industry in 1999, working as a health care assistant in Southend hospital. She progressed to mentoring and NVQ assessing other HCA’s in A&E. It was clear that she wanted to continue to pursue a career in health and social care so she took up a registered manager role in a domiciliary care business and has since held operational and regional manager roles. Terina brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team as our registered care manager, she has a clear passion for supporting people and working in an organisation where she can make a real difference. Terina has many qualifications, including a level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care.

Since joining Bluebird Care, Terina has helped the business achieve an overall rating of Outstanding with our regulator the Care Quality Commission, making us the only provider with this rating in the borough of Haringey. Also in late 2022, Terina won a national award, 'Care Manager of the Year' from over 100 nominations at a ceremony in London. We are very proud of her continued success and achievements.

I feel that Bluebird really cares about the quality of the care that the customers receive, but also the appreciation for the care staff, which is extremely important to me. My goal is to ensure that every customer receives the highest quality person-centered care possible and is treated with respect and dignity at all times. I really enjoy my job as registered care manager at Bluebird Care Highgate & Haringey and working with my wonderful colleagues

Bridget Inal
Deputy Care Manager

Bridget originally trained as a general nurse and gained several years' experience working in acute settings before transferring to the community where she had various roles supporting children, young people, and their families in their own homes.

She had the opportunity to take up a management position in healthcare and this extended to management across adult health and social care. During this time she felt very passionate about making a difference to the lives of people who required care and support. She did everything she could to help them live independent lives and receive the best possible support.

Following a break in her career, Bridget joined Bluebird Care Highgate & Haringey as a care worker and this experience once again enabled her to provide quality care to customers in their own homes. She then had the opportunity to take up the position of care supervisor and then Deputy care maanger, a role that she really wanted to do, as it enables her to continue supporting customers but also offering support to care assistants and office collegues.

Bluebird Care is passionate about the customers they support and the quality of care they deliver. Our entire team value the care staff we employ. My aim is to ensure that our team are well supported and that the care delivered is the best it can be, every single day.

Eka Kopaleishvili
Care Coordinator

Eka lived in America for 2 years working as a nanny before moving to London. She started her career as an English teacher, mainly teaching at secondary school level but longed to work in the care industry. She started working as a care assistant visiting people's homes, delivering a very high level of support and care. She has continued her learning and increased her knowledge around domiciliary care and is now an integral part of the office team where she focuses on supporting and coordintaing our entire team.

"Fortunately I stumbled across Bluebird Care Highgate and Haringey and quickly realised they provide high-quality care to customers in our local community. I have gained a lot of experience and learnt new skills and I am proud that I am Bluebird Care's Care Coordinator because I get the opportunity to share my experience, knowledge and skills with other carers whilst supporting them through their careers".

Angela Whitear
Care Supervisor

Before joining the Bluebird Care in April 2020, Angela worked in sales and also in hospices. It was a challenging start and introduction to home care in April 2020 due to COVID-19 but she thoroughly enjoyed her two years as a care assistant and she excelled in her role. Angela continued her progression and became our care coordinator in July 2022 at our neighbouring Camden & Hampstead office before joining the Highgate and Haringey team as our Care Supervisor in September 2023.

I have always been very interested in learning about all aspects of the care sector. As a Care Supervisor, my aim is to ensure that everybody receives a high level of support and that we achieve consistency for both our care team and customer on a daily basis.
