I have been a carer for two years and by far this is the best company I've worked with out of three, the support, training and customer satisfaction is by far the best place I've worked! The challenges that you find yourself being faced with are a new experience and the sense of achievement is priceless, these people really do rely on you and you know by their gratitude that you have made a remarkable impact on their lives which in its self is by far the most amazing feeling in the world! I'm so happy to be a blue bird carer but you would need to be part of our team to experience for yourself what the rest of us feel at the end of our working day and it can only be described as a delight! I love my job and I love the people I work with not only customers but the rest of the team they are very professional and are such a great crowd of people!

I'm relatively new at Bluebird Care Edinburgh, but I feel it's a great company to work for. I have support from office and on call staff whenever it's needed and get kept on the same run to provide continuity for the customers. Nothing seems too much trouble to the office staff and I always feel respected and listened to. I’m also made to feel welcome every time I go in to the office (one of the bosses always makes me a cuppa!) Its long days, but a very rewarding job. I feel really positive about Bluebird Care. Probably the hardest part of the job is finding the customers houses, but help is always on hand, from the office or on-call.

I have enjoyed working with Bluebird Care since I started and I have met a lot of lovely people. It has boosted my confidence a lot more and I have learned more things in being a care assistant. Also, I have lovely customers and it makes me happy knowing I have put a smile on their faces. I wish now I had taken on this job a lot sooner.

I have just completed my 3 months’ probation with Bluebird Care and have loved every minute of it. The training although intense was amazing. The staff in the office are always so helpful and my fellow care workers have all been only too happy to share with me their knowledge and welcome me to Bluebird Care. I'm so looking forward to my future working at Bluebird Care.

My job is special, because I know that the care work we do is helping people to stay in their own homes. So glad I became part of the Bluebird family.
