I had already worked as a carer for 20 years when I joined Bluebird Care in the autumn. I'd never been spoiled before so it was so lovely to attend my first ever works Christmas party just a couple of months later - and receive a Christmas present. They make such a fuss of you! Thank you Bluebird Care. That is just one of many reasons you are the best employers!

I love working with them, they are such a great team. They are all such nice people, they have an open door policy and they are always so smiley and friendly. Thank you for caring about your carers. You can speak to anyone with any problem and they’ll always help. It gives such peace of mind that you are not alone.

What do you enjoy about your job?
I love meeting new customers and then building that trust, treating them with respect and keeping them happy. It makes me happy! The relationships I’ve formed are so rewarding.

What do you enjoy about your job?
It is my passion to care for the elderly and ensure they are well looked after. My goal each day is to be hands-on and to leave each customer’s home knowing that I’ve done a good job in taking care of them and making them comfortable.
Do you think Bluebird Care Wandsworth, Clapham & Streatham are good people to work for?
They are all really nice and helpful people. I feel respected and valued and since I joined Bluebird Care, I have had a lot of support from them.
In terms of ongoing support and career development, I know I can achieve great things at Bluebird Care and I have seen some of my colleagues go up the career ladder.

What do you enjoy about your job?
I treat my customers as my own family and they are the most important thing to me. I love my job and I’ve been working as a carer for a number of years.
Do you think Bluebird Care Wandsworth, Clapham & Streatham are good people to work for?
I must say that I am very happy working here. I see what Bluebird Care does for their customers and they really do take care of their needs. In turn it keeps us happy as carers as we don’t have any problems to face with disgruntled customers and our lives are made a lot easier at work. We don’t feel like lone workers, we always have a team behind us to help out.

What do you enjoy about your job?
My customers. The type of people I look after, they are all lovely! I love their personalities, getting to know them, building companionship and my working knowledge.

They are such a wonderful company to work for. I always know I can go to them on a personal or business matter and they will listen and help. They are so flexible and personal growth is encouraged. Their ongoing training is so helpful and it makes me feel not only highly skilled, but valued too because they invest in their staff. I love my customers. Even the challenging ones!
Do you think Bluebird Care Wandsworth, Clapham & Streatham are good people to work for?
To be honest I don’t think I would work anywhere else. I get excellent support from the office team and the care staff I work with. I have a lot of experience from previous jobs in care but Bluebird Care helped me understand my role much better.
I am more confident and have more experience in a whole range of areas now. I like consistency in my life and I can happily say that my rota each week is very consistent.
I would love to work in the office team one day and aspire towards this. My Managers have told me what to do to achieve this goal and I am on track. I feel like I have grown as a person and developed ample skills to move forward.
