Welcome to Bluebird Care Careers in Chorley, Ormskirk & Leyland

Colin Bowers  started Bluebird Care Chorley, Ormskirk & Leyland after he lost his mum June Bowers last year. He felt her care was not of high quality and wanted to create a care service that met customers needs and beyond. He researched many companies and found Bluebird Care to be of High Quality. He has spent many months working with the Bluebird Care Team to ensure his Branch has been set up correctly and that all policies and procedures are in place. Colin has named his company after his mum June Bowers as a tribute to her memory.Previously Colin was MD of a large Horticultural company that he started some 30 years ago and wished to use his knowledge and business experience in developing an amazing care company.His role will be that of Franchisee and director to oversee the commercial and smooth running of the entire business.

In Colin's spare time, Colin is a keen golfer, skier and all round sport enthusiast. He loves listening to all sorts of music and enjoys doing yoga when he gets the time. Colin has one son called Mathrew who is 31 years old. They enjoy spending time together and music and cooking is their bond. 

Melissa Morgan joined the team in January 2021 as Registered Manager. Melissa has over 16 years of experience in the Care Sector. Melissa has an outgoing and a gregarious personality, and has a really good sense of humour. She has excellent social skills, and has a real passion and dedication for her work. She is extremely professional in her work and has developed some extremely good values which underpin her commitment to delivering the highest possible level of personalised care for clients.

Melissa is a lead singer in a band called "Melandrama" although they have not been able to do many gigs lately. She has danced in many Irish dancing competitions when she was younger with her mum being her teacher. Melissa has two sons aged 12 & 13 years old. She is married  and they all love to go on little adventures walking and seeing new areas. 

Eva Fekete

Eva Fekete joined the team in May 2022 as Assistant Manager. Eva has over 5 years of experience in the care sector and 3 years management experience. Eva has a kind and compassionate personality, and continuously demonstrates a positive attitude at work. Eva is a strong advocate for providing the best care for our customers.

Eva loves swimming, walking, hiking and going on adventures with her fiancé. They often travel to the Lakes and North Wales. 

Lynsey Howells joined the team in July 2022 as Care Co-ordinator. Lynsey has over 5 years in the care sector with 1 year care-coordinating experience. Lynsey has a kind and bubbly personality who can bring a smile to anybody’s day. Lynsey's passion is to ensure that every customer receives the best standard of care and always offers a supporting hand to everybody who requires it.

Lynsey loves going on walks with her dogs and children. Lynsey also enjoys making the most of family time and looking forward to camping trips with the family.
