Mark Wright and Mark Lund
Directors/Franchise Owners

Bluebird Care (Chesterfield and NE Derbyshire) is led by Directors Mark Wright and Mark Lund. Both started providing homecare at our sister business, Bluebird Care (Sheffield) to offer customers in the area excellent standards of care and support while remaining in the comfort of their own homes.  Delivering the highest quality homecare service and support is both Marks' absolute goal and the team would love to hear from anyone who is seeking homecare for themselves or for a loved one, or would simply like to talk to someone about the services we provide.

Bluebird Care (Sheffield) began delivering quality home care on 23rd December 2009 and we expanded and opened Bluebird Care (Chesterfield and NE Derbyshire) in August 2021

Mark Wright and Mark Lund are the Franchisees and met in 1996 whilst working for a large retail banking organisation.

Our experience in managing people and business prepared us for the delivery of very high standards of customer care and service whilst working in a highly regulated environment. We strive, every day, to deliver good old fashioned service to all of our customers .

I very much share Bluebird Care's ethos of high-quality homecare. Ensuring the best possible service to our customers is at the heart of of what we do, and forms a major part of our business plans. It is my continuing goal to ensure our businesses deliver the best service possible to our customers, ensuring their rights and wishes are championed.

Over the last six years Lynsey has shown excellent management skills and an ability to undertake greater responsibility throughout the business and therefore in July 2019 the decision was taken to promote Lynsey to Deputy Care Manager. Further progression was achieved in October 2021 when after a restructure of the management due to the growth of our businesses resulted in Lynsey being promoted to the Registered Care Manager of Bluebird Care (Sheffield). Over the last 10 years Emma has worked as a Care Supervisor in several roles and has a large range of qualifications and achievements which have aided her in her career development. Emma is very keen on self-development and takes pride in helping others to achieve their full potential.

Her most favourable achievements are her HR arena training which include disciplinary’s, absences, incidents and accidents, PDP’S and training of current and new staff.

Alongside Lauren Perkins, Emma is responsible for the training, supervision, and career development of our frontline care assistants.

Supervision is an opportunity to bring someone back to their own mind, to show them how good they can be. If my actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more I have succeeded.

Lauren Perkins
Care Supervisor

Lauren joined Bluebird Care (Chesterfield and NE Derbyshire) in September 2023 as a Care Supervisor.

Lauren has worked in care for the past ten years holding previous roles as a care assistant and mentor. She has extensive knowledge and experience across the domiciliary care sector and strives to progress her career through to senior management.

Lauren trained in accounts and business administration after leaving school in 2014 and then took the leap of faith into care in 2017 and has never looked back. She has a degree in counselling and psychology and is very easy to talk to and be around. Lauren really enjoys seeing the positive impact that we can make on other people's lives and says that working in the care industry is a lifestyle change that she will never forget making as it has been and still is the most rewarding sector to be involved in.

Alongside Emma Sandy, Lauren is responsible for the training, supervision, and career development of our frontline care assistants.

If you spend the time to support, guide and share your knowledge with those around you, giving them the opportunities to achieve anything, the belief to become the best version of themselves, care about their well-being and do all you can to help them, then you are a good leader.
