Dedication to Linda Masters, Live In Care Assistant

Linda was born in Otukpo, Benue State Nigeria on the May 6th 1981 and was a proud Nigerian.
She met her British husband Geoff in Senegal in 2001 and March 2016 would have seen their 14th wedding anniversary.

Linda was the fifth born of nine children and did everything possible to make things better for her family, such as paying school and college fees for her younger siblings. She even built a house for her family.

Linda loved her job and the people she cared for. She described feeling very privileged to have become a UK citizen, and that she wanted to “put something back” in gratitude; hence her dedication to care work.

Always keen to learn new things, Linda could speak several languages including French, Arabic, Italian, and Spanish, plus her own native language and all the local dialects.
She had a great memory and could remember events and dates going back years.

Linda was a delight to know and will be really missed by her family, co-workers and the many people she served with her caring skills since joining Bluebird Care Cheshire East in March 2013, up to her sad passing.
