Meet our team of care professionals

Michael Langham
Director & Owner

Michael was so impressed with the approach demonstrated by Bluebird Care he invested in his home territory of Cardiff North back in 2009. He is still very much involved in the development of the business, and has particular interest in exploring new bespoke ways of meeting people's needs.

Originally qualified as a Chartered Surveyor, Michael has an open and supportive management culture with an eye for detail and quality of service, acknowledging that people, from his own personal experience, are individuals and everyone is different.
 

Chris Binstead
Operations Manager

Chris joined Cardiff North at the beginning of 2019 after enjoying previous careers in the Footwear and Finance industries. While the Care sector is new to Chris, he brings a wealth of experience of sales, marketing and commercial operations.

Chris is Vice Chairman of Cardiff & Vale Domiciliary Providers Association.

Jennifer Ross
Care Manager

Jennifer has worked extensively across the social and complex care sector for over 20 years. She has undertaken numerous roles including Registered Manager, Turnaround Manager, Operations Director in some of the largest providers in the UK.

Jennifer joined Cardiff North in September 2019 after deciding she wanted to return to Wales.  

Emily Jenkins
Office Manager

Since leaving university with a degree in Accounting and Finance, Emily developed her knowledge and experience of the finance industry before joining Bluebird. Since joining Cardiff North she has gained experience in all aspects of the business from caring to co-ordinating, personnel to purchasing!

Louise Leworthy
Supervisor

Louise is an experienced administrator and returned to the Care sector with Cardiff North early in 2017. She is responsible for carrying out spot checks and observations of our carers, as well as being the first point of contact for our customers. As a Whitchurch resident her local knowledge often proves invaluable!

Robyn Luke
Care Coordinator

Robyn started her working life in retail before quickly moving on to a career in Care. Previously leading a team of carers in a residential establishment, she joined Cardiff North in January ’20.

As Care Coordinator Robyn’s role is to ensure that our carers are in the right place, at the right time to deliver the right care – no pressure then!
