I really like the training programme because all staff here are friendly and helpful, I feel like a family member here. I really enjoyed being on this training because all staff are very friendly. I have learned a lot in this course.
Very welcoming & friendly team, training course was in depth, informative but not overwhelming. Glad to have found a company that values staff & customers to a high standard, it's been a pleasure.
Taking the decision to join the team at Bluebird Care Calderdale & Bradford was one of the best decisions I have ever made, during my time with them I have learnt invaluable knowledge and insight to the problems facing our elderly and disabled citizens. Just knowing that I can make a positive difference for them is tremendously rewarding and satisfying. Bluebird Care Calderdale & Bradford gave me the training, support and confidence to carry out my job to the best of my ability and there is always somebody available to help with any problems or concerns I may have. As well as job satisfaction, the role of community care worker can sometimes be both challenging and difficult, but my colleagues at Bluebird Care are always willing to lend a hand or a shoulder to cry on in such times. Here at Bluebird Care we work together and play together, we are a team!

I work for Bluebird Care as I love to help people and I love to see people’s faces when they are feeling low on my arrival and then when I leave they are laughing and happy and I have made their day. We all help each other out at Bluebird Care and we all work together as a team. I work in care because I like to make a difference to people’s lives. I like to listen to the older customers tell me stories of when they were younger and what it was like growing up. I go to see a lady who is 92 years old and she likes to sit right next to the fire which makes her legs go very red, I told her she needs to sit further away from the fire so she said she will wrap her legs around her neck to stop them from going red, I was sat with her as she was doing so.
I work for Bluebird Care Calderdale & Bradford because we have amazing teams and amazing clients, I enjoy going out to work every shift, it’s such a rewarding job and I feel I make a difference to my clients’ lives and they are all very happy with the care they receive. I have good fun on my shifts as well as taking my role as a carer very seriously. I decided to work in care as I wanted to make a difference to people’s lives. I wanted to help and help people to continue to stay in their own homes. I am a caring person and enjoy helping friends and family and I felt it was the time to take my caring nature out further into the wider community and help individuals that are in more need. On the 26th of January I was called out with another carer at 10pm. Although our shift was over we didn’t even hesitate to go and help our client as she had just been discharged from hospital. Myself and Tracey both went and on arrival discovered our client was very unwell. We automatically jumped into action and helped our client to stay with us while we waited for the paramedics. On arrival the paramedics said if we hadn’t contacted them when we did then the story would have been much different and she probably wouldn’t be with us now. This was so rewarding for us and I am extremely proud of me and Tracey for this. Thank you to Bluebird Care for all the training and confidence they have given me to be able to work as a carer.
