Meet our team of care professionals

Roberta Farrugia
Owner/ Director

The business is owned by Roberta & Mark Farrugia.

Roberta and Mark manage the day to day running of the business and the office and Roberta’s primary responsibility is to ensure to deliver safe care and that quality is imbedded in everything Bluebird Care delivers.  Roberta is the CQC Registered Care Manager.

Before setting up Bluebird Care, Roberta & Mark had several years’ experience in running their own catering and property businesses in Malta. In 2016 Roberta and Mark decided to move to Kent together with their daughter Pia to take a new challenge and enter the provision of care at home in Ashford. They were inspired by Mark’s sister Charmaine who’s already a Bluebird Care Franchise owner.
 
Roberta and Mark are assisted by an exceptional care team who upholds the values of Bluebird Care in the way they deliver, supervise and co-ordinate the care.

Emma Wright
Care Co-ordinator

I have been in the care industry since 2014. I started my career working in the community as a care assistant. I joined Bluebird Care in October 2018 as a community care assistant and now gradually working up the career pathway in Bluebird Care. I have now been promoted to the care co- ordinator

My hobbies outside of work are, spending quality time with my family, going for walks with the family.

Loran J Trigg
Care support supervisor

Hello, my name is Loran. I have worked in the care industry for 5 years now since i was 19. I began my care career as a community care assistant and have worked my way up the ladder to where I am now, supporting new and existing care workers to thrive. 

I hold a level 2 diploma for dementia, NVQ level 2 in health and social care. 

 

Donna Newman
Support Care Supervisor

Donna has worked with Bluebird Care since 2017 as a fantastic Care Assistant. May 2018 Donna joined the office team as a care mentor helping all new staff and existing members throughout their career journey with us.
 

Joanne Lee
Office Administrator

Hello my name is Jo, I have worked in care on and off since I was 18, I have an NVQ2 in health and social care and have completed a dementia course. I have always enjoyed doing this as a career as I have developed knowledge and understanding in this sector.

Outside of work I enjoy to spend time with family and friends. I enoy travelling and like visiting new places.
