Job description
We wake up every morning thankful for our fantastic team of live in care workers. We now need more - but not just anyone!
Would you like to work for a company that truly values and respects its care staff? We are one of the only companies in this area that has been rated OUTSTANDING by CQC in the “Well Led” category. Could you support vulnerable adults, of all ages so they can live independently in their own homes? Are you looking for a job where you can make a difference? Would you be happy being away from your own home and loved ones to help others stay in their home?
We are looking for individuals who truly care and genuinely want to make a difference to other peoples' lives. We aim to assist our customers to maintain their independence and lifestyle, whilst remaining safe in their own homes. As well as caring for our customers, you will need excellent communication skills, with fluency in English and the ability to display empathy and warmth. We need you to be able to use your own initiative and cope well under pressure.
Packages would benefit from experienced care workers but this is not essential providing you are happy to undertake full training - which is paid for. Local support from a dedicated Supervisor and on call will always be provided. Training will be in Frome, Somerset.
There is also an opportunity to work nationally, in the unlikely circumstance packages were not available in the Mendip Region. Maybe you fancy a week in the Capital or in the Highlands!
You will be paid between £560 and £630 per week depending on the complexity of the package and your food and accommodation are also provided.
We can offer self-employed status.
Young or older - think of the savings! Maybe this is a way for you to develop skills and experience and the chance to save! Think of the rewards! You have so much to offer!
You will also have the opportunity of undertaking qualifications in Dementia care, End of Life, and Common Health Conditions, as well as, Health and Social Care Diplomas.
