07:30 AM – Bright Starts & Morning Routines

The day begins with a gentle start. Armed with the Bluebird Care app—which lists individual visit schedules, care plans, and client preferences—our Care Expert arrives at their first home visit in Newport.

The primary goal of the morning call is to help clients feel refreshed, confident, and ready for the day ahead:

• Assistance with getting washed, dressed, and ready.
• Prompting or administering morning medications according to precise care records.
• Preparing a nutritious breakfast, accompanied by a cup of tea and a friendly catch-up on morning news.

10:30 AM – Community Visits, errands, and Companionship

Next, it’s off to Ryde for a mid-morning visit. Care is about far more than task lists; companionship is at the heart of everything we do.

Depending on what the client enjoys, this time might involve:

• Going for a gentle walk along the seaside promenade.
• Helping with grocery shopping or picking up prescriptions.
• Simply sitting together with a cup of coffee to share stories, look through old photograph albums, or tackle a crossword puzzle.

01:00 PM – Lunchtime Support & A Well-Earned Break

At lunchtime, our Care Expert visits a client in Cowes. After preparing a warm meal and ensuring proper hydration, they log notes on the app so the office team and family members stay fully updated.

Afterward, it’s time for the Care Expert’s own break—perhaps taking a pause to enjoy the island coast or catching up with fellow colleagues through the office care team chat.

03:30 PM – Afternoon Checks & Extra Care

During afternoon visits across Shanklin, tasks adapt to match individual care plans. This might include light household tidying, checking that safety pathways are clear to prevent falls, or offering specialized support for clients living with dementia.

Throughout every interaction, our Care Experts focus on encouraging independence—helping clients do as much for themselves as they feel capable of doing.

06:30 PM – Bedtime Routine & Evening Peace

As the day draws to a close, evening visits focus on helping clients wind down safely:

• Preparing a light supper or evening drink.
• Assisting with bedtime routines, nightwear, and evening medication.
• Ensuring doors, windows, and heating are safely adjusted before wishing the client a peaceful night.
