Inverclyde & Renfrewshire Full Time Care Co-Ordinator £27000 - £30000 per annum
We are seeking a Care Co-ordinator to support our wonderful care team who cover services across Renfrewshire and Inverclyde. Based in our Paisley office, this is a pivotal role with responsibility for the effective provision of service delivery. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience: Full UK driving licence & access to vehicle Previous experience as a coordinator in a home care environment Has obtained SVQ Level 3 in Adult Health and Social Care Ability to demonstrate a good working knowledge of care standards in domiciliary care Able to work under pressure and work to tight deadlines A good working knowledge of health & safety issues Resilient, with good interpersonal skills Must be flexible and able to work weekends Logical, analytical, highly organised, forward thinking with attention to detail. Proactive, resilient, confident and an excellent communicator – someone who seeks to “make it happen” and goes the extra mile to make sure it does. The Role: Your main responsibility will be coordinating Care Assistants rotas, within the Inverclyde and Renfrewshire area, working closely with Supervisors and the Registered Manager to ensure excellent continuity is always maintained. You will be liaising with the care assistants, social services and customers families daily, therefore excellent communication and telephone communication skills are required. You will be required to meet the demand for the care packages so must be able to multitask and work to strict deadlines. Our coordinators use software to organise rotas so the successful candidate must be IT literate, with the ability to learn new software quickly. You will also be required to participate in the 'out of hours' rota. An additional allowance will be payable to cover this. You will be working in a busy office with an amazing team who are all very supportive and friendly.
