Aoife began her career with Bluebird Care in 2022, shortly after relocating from the west of Ireland to Edinburgh. She started as a Care Assistant and quickly demonstrated her dedication and passion for the role. In July 2024, Aoife progressed to the position of Care Supervisor for the North East of Edinburgh, a role she finds incredibly rewarding. 

What Aoife loves most about working in care is being part of a team that makes a real difference in people’s lives. She takes great pride in helping individuals remain in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes, where they feel safe and supported. For Aoife, the opportunity to contribute to someone’s independence and wellbeing is both meaningful and fulfilling. 

Outside of work, Aoife enjoys travelling; whether it’s revisiting favourite spots in Ireland and Scotland or exploring new destinations further afield. She recently returned from a trip of a lifetime across South East Asia. When she’s not travelling, Aoife loves sea swimming, cooking, and relaxing with a bit of reality TV. 

Aoife’s commitment to her role and her enthusiasm for helping others make her a valued member of the Bluebird Care team. Her journey from Care Assistant to Care Supervisor is a testament to her hard work and passion for the care sector.
