Lynne Churchill - Director & Franchise Owner

Lynne Churchill brings a deep sense of care, commitment, and leadership to her role as Franchise Director for Bluebird Care Cardiff and The Vale. Drawing on a rich background in Sales, Marketing, and Employee Benefits, Lynne has spent her career building meaningful partnerships and creating initiatives that put people at the heart of every decision. With over 30 years of experience across Leadership, Operations and Healthcare, Lynne combines strategic expertise with a genuine passion for supporting others. Her insight into people and business allows her to nurture a culture of excellence and compassion—ensuring that both customers and care teams feel valued, supported, and empowered. As Franchise Director, Lynne is dedicated to leading Bluebird Care with empathy and vision, driving forward initiatives that promote quality care, staff wellbeing, and community connection. Her leadership style focuses on listening, collaboration, and continuous growth—helping her team deliver exceptional, person-centred care that makes a real difference in people’s lives. Outside of work, Lynne enjoys strength training, cycling, walking, and reading—activities that reflect her belief in balance, wellbeing, and lifelong learning. This holistic approach to life inspires her leadership, bringing positivity and fresh energy to her role and to everyone she works with.

Chris Churchill - Director

Chris is a seasoned and highly qualified engineer with over 35 years of experience in the engineering sector. His extensive career has seen him collaborate internationally with universities, testing laboratories, and factories across various countries, including China, South America, India, and Turkey. With a strong background in Quality Assurance, Chris has developed a deep well of business acumen, coupled with a relentless drive to ensure that quality is consistently delivered to all customers. Twenty years ago, Chris founded his own engineering company, which remains operational and is currently managed by his German counterpart. Although often working behind the scenes, Chris plays a pivotal role in the company, particularly in IT and finance, and works closely with his wife, Lynne Churchill, to ensure the smooth operation and success of the business. His commitment to quality and his leadership has been key to the company's ongoing success.

Karen Razaq - Finance Manager

Karen is our Payroll and Accounts Officer. Karen has worked in Accounts for many years and spent most of her career working in care joining us from another Care Provider this year. Although having a Masters Degree in Psychology, Karen is a stickler for dilligence and accuracy. She has recently completed a qualification in Xero

Cerys Morgan - Registered Manager

Cerys has worked in Care for 10 years, starting off as a Care Assistant and working her way up to Care Coordinator and Registered Manager. Cerys has managed multiple Bluebird Care Franchise’s. Cerys is Qualified Level 5 Health and is also a Mental Health First Aid. In her spare time, Cerys enjoys walking, visiting new places and spending time with her niece and nephews.

Emma Avis - The Vale & Live-In Care Coordinator

Emma joined Bluebird Care in February 2015 having previously worked in supported living for people with Learning Disabilities. Emma initially started with us as a care worker and within six months was promoted to Care Supervisor. Emma is always on hand to provide advice and support to the supervisors in both Cardiff and The Vale of Glamorgan. Emma manages her own team of care workers to ensure that we continue to provide a quality service. Emma is the first point of contact with both new and existing customers in the Vale of Glamorgan. In her spare time Emma enjoys cooking and spending time with her family.

Chris Wilkinson - Cardiff Care Coordinator

Chris joins Bluebird Care Cardiff and The Vale as our Care Co Ordinator for Cardiff. Chris brings experience from his two years in Care Sector. Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his partner experiencing the Welsh dream and exploring many places in Wales. As he moved from Devon this year he likes to travel down and see his family including his 3 nieces, 2 nephews and great niece & nephew.

Joanne Couch - Supervisor

Joanne worked in Care for 4 years prior to joining Bluebird Care, mainly with Dementia and Alzheimer’s. Joanne started with Bluebird Care in April 2019 as a Care Supervisor for the Vale of Glamorgan. Jo is responsible for supporting Customers and Care Assistants in the Vale by carrying out regular supervisions, spot checks, quality reviews and ensuring that our quality is always a priority.

Sinead Grant - Supervisor

Sinead has been working in care for 6 years, and while working at Bluebird Care has worked her way through the ranks from carer, senior and is now one of our amazing care supervisors! In Sinead's spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family.

Chloe Hutton - Supervisor

Chloe has been working in care for the past 5 years and joined Bluebird Care in 2023. Chloe completed 2 years of a nursing degree, however after working in care decided that working in the care community sector was a better fit for her. Chloe’s family all live in West Wales, so Chloe spends her weekends visiting them as she has 7 siblings and 13 nieces & nephews, meaning she is always busy. But, as Chloe lives away from her family, she spends her time after work with her friends.

Lauren White - Supervisor

Lauren has been a care assistant since 2017 and worked for the NHS from 2019 where she was a care assistant, patient navigator and a lymphoedema technician. Lauren decided to leave the NHS due to not having enough time to spend with her daughter Eva-Marie. Lauren enjoys spending time with her family and socialising with her friends in her spare time.

Nicola Mills - Hub Coordinator & Live-In Care Mentor

Nicola started with Bluebird Care in 2015 as a Care Assistant, and upon the opening of our "Forget Me Not Hub" in 2021, began working as our Hub Activities Coordinator. With the growth of our Live-in Care Service, Nicola has taken on the role of Live-in Care Mentor.

Chloe Morgan - Carer Wellbeing Mentor

Chloe joins Bluebird Care Cardiff and The Vale as our Carer Wellbeing Mentor. Chloe brings valuable experience from her two years in the Mental Health Sector, as well as a year supporting young people through an Emotional Health Team. Outside of work, Chloe enjoys spending time by the sea with her dogs, creating special memories on family days out with her nieces, and travelling whenever she gets the chance.

Ollie Churchill - Operations Officer

Ollie graduated with First-Class Honours in Accounting and Finance, building a strong academic foundation in financial management and analytical thinking. His professional journey began in the NHS, where he worked in the Accounts Payable team, managing invoice queries and ensuring seamless financial operations in a high-demand environment. This experience honed his attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively under pressure—qualities that continue to drive my success in my current role as Operations Officer at Bluebird Care Cardiff and The Vale. Here, he oversees operations with a focus on efficiency and delivering outstanding care services. Outside of work, Ollie enjoys discovering new restaurants, visiting nature trails, and travelling to experience different cultures and countries.

Lucy Judge - Recruitment Officer

Lucy has been working in care since 2012. She started off her career as a care assistant and then became a fully qualified nurse 4 years ago. She joined Bluebird Care in November 2024 as the recruitment officer after finding a love for recruitment during her career. Outside of work, she loves nothing more than spending her days off at home cwtched up with my cat or going for long coastal walks.

Natasha Euston-Cook - Digital Marketing Manager

From the Rhondda Valleys, Natasha has over 7 years of experience in Digital Marketing and has an Advertising Degree from the University of South Wales. Over the years, she has worked for a wide range of sectors such as the public sector, the retail sector, and many more. Her most recent role was working for a small business-to-business marketing agency. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and attending rock concerts.

Lia McCaughey - Office Administrator

Lia joins Bluebird Care as our Office Administrator, after recently graduating from university in Psychology and Business. Before joining the team, she gained valuable experience working in a school, where she developed excellent organisational and people-focused skills. Originally from Ireland, Lia recently relocated to Cardiff and is enjoying exploring different parts of Wales in her spare time. Outside of work, she loves going for runs and unwinding with a good book.
