With the aging population the need for care assistants within social care has never been greater. As we look at the needs of our population, we realise that there are things we can do as one of the main care providers.
Not only are we looking at recruiting new people into the industry and training people to develop their skills further to keep them into the industry. We need to look at why people have left the industry and what we can do to get our great care assistants back into social care.
Supported by local governments attempts are being made to contact people that used to work in the social care industry to find out if we can interest them in coming back to an industry that needs their skills and services and is very rewarding.
